Would anyone be willing to share the characteristics of different AI models? (Non-professional)

I'll start by offering my humble opinion to spark the discussion.

My setting background is a bit complex; it needs to remember about 5 proper nouns and 7 fixed NPCs, totaling around 2,700 tokens. The prompt doesn't define a specific main plot, but it does set a final ending.

At first, I used the default Gemini 3 Flash, and it really, really loves conspiracy theories. If it isn't suspecting my female lead of having a conspiracy, it's suspecting the NPCs. Either the female lead has a genetic abnormality, or it suspects the NPCs have special constitutions, or it thinks the NPCs are trying to gather people for a coup, or the NPCs suspect the female lead of planning an assassination.

No matter how I changed the prompt, it didn't help.

Switching to GPT-5 Mini seemed like an improvement at first glance, but it only stayed normal for about a dozen chapters. Then, the options started constantly appearing as '\n\n Investigate the relationship between XX and OO, and check if they are colluding ' , '\n\n Delve into the royal conspiracy ' , or '\n\n See if there are signs that OO is secretly dealing with the Prime Minister ' ...

My prompt clearly stated: 'A romance novel set in an interstellar empire with mecha, please focus the plot on romantic descriptions.'

Currently, the test results suggest that low-consumption AI models (excluding DEEPSEEK, which is Chinese and I haven't tested) have this problem to varying degrees (though I don't rule out that my own prompts might not be well-written). They like to fill in exciting, exaggerated plots and settings, and they like to act on their own or make characters OOC (Out of Character) to accommodate the player character (for example, a character who is supposed to be cold and aloof suddenly tries to flirt with the female lead, and in a very greasy way).

I've currently switched to the high-consumption GPT-5.6 Terra and have gone through about 18 chapters. The writing style is much better. Although I still suspect it of playing with conspiracy theories, it currently looks more like it's just building a suspenseful atmosphere, so I'm letting it slide for now.
